Rachel is informed by Ruth, her sister, that she discovered Katie's distorted body in the closet. Rachel also reveals that Katie was killed by a heart attack. Katie's friends inform Rachel about the legend behind the cursed tape and how Becca Katie's best friend was taken to a hospital after seeing Katie's death. She also discovers Katie's boyfriend, as well as two of her buddies were killed in bizarre accidents the same night , at around 10 PM.
